So i just found this band, someone posted one of their songs on Snowings facebook. ive got a couple songs into it and im really liking it. i guess its a married couple not that that matters but thats what ive heard. i didnt find much about this band because im rushing to post this before i head out tonight but im definitely going to put it on my ipod and listen to the rest right now AND YOU SHOULD TOO!

Okay so im not sure if im ready to admit to the whole freakin internet that i actually like the new dr. acula cd, oh well here it goes. so i saw they had a new cd comming out and looking for a good laugh i checked out a "trailer" they put up on youtube and instead i actually got into it. I use to like this band when SLOB first came out then half the band quit or whatever and they put out Social event of the century which i hated. i was convinced they turned a joke band into a serious band merely based on the fact that had "fans" now. it seemed like the music on that record reflected that but something happen with this one and i really like alot of the guitar riffs, some of the lyrics are really annoying but i can get over that

overall: go smoke weed then drive down a bumpy road in your big ass truck and get stoked on how heavy this is.

This is the newest project by Blake Schwarzenbach, they just finished a west coast tour and they're already doing another right now. They formed in August of 09 with ex drummer of Against Me! Kevin Mahon and bassist Caroline Paquita from Bitchin'. They've got a ton of newer that i dont think have been put out yet. Check some of those out in this live studio session.

Another awesome band a friend of mine showed me. They just finished a small tour in NY, CT and MA. Pretty disappointed i didnt hear about them before the tour because they had 3 MA dates. They just put out a split with Chalk Talk last month, make sure you grab that too.

So i found this awesome Compilation cd this morning, its full of awesome emo bands doing even more awesome covers of other artists

e.g Algernon - The Beatles, 1994!- Beastie Boys. Static Sex - Neutral Milk Hotel, Chalk Talk - The Beach Boys, plus a ton more. i couldn't find out much for about this like who Biff Swenson is or why he decided to release this, if you know please send some info my way id love to hear about this
