Clastic - Strata EP

Cool instrumental math rock I found while searching through bandcamp. Appearently theyre from Berlin? try it !!

Casey Lee - Comroms

Casey Lee from Fake Problems
"the songs are in no particular order since this was never recorded or meant to be any kind of record. The recordings of these songs are how they sounded exactly then. It was never meant to be a single piece of art and most certainly was never meant to be finalized or set in stone in any sense. these songs will change along with everything else. i put them all together because it seemed easier to be able to download them all at once (duh). everything was played and recorded by me in my bedroom in naples florida and my big brothers apartment in los angeles california during march and april of 2011. enjoy"

Tennis - Cape Dory

So i just found this band, someone posted one of their songs on Snowings facebook. ive got a couple songs into it and im really liking it. i guess its a married couple not that that matters but thats what ive heard. i didnt find much about this band because im rushing to post this before i head out tonight but im definitely going to put it on my ipod and listen to the rest right now AND YOU SHOULD TOO!

Dr. Acula - Slander

Okay so im not sure if im ready to admit to the whole freakin internet that i actually like the new dr. acula cd, oh well here it goes. so i saw they had a new cd comming out and looking for a good laugh i checked out a "trailer" they put up on youtube and instead i actually got into it. I use to like this band when SLOB first came out then half the band quit or whatever and they put out Social event of the century which i hated. i was convinced they turned a joke band into a serious band merely based on the fact that had "fans" now. it seemed like the music on that record reflected that but something happen with this one and i really like alot of the guitar riffs, some of the lyrics are really annoying but i can get over that
overall: go smoke weed then drive down a bumpy road in your big ass truck and get stoked on how heavy this is.

forgetters - self titled

This is the newest project by Blake Schwarzenbach, they just finished a west coast tour and they're already doing another right now. They formed in August of 09 with ex drummer of Against Me! Kevin Mahon and bassist Caroline Paquita from Bitchin'. They've got a ton of newer that i dont think have been put out yet. Check some of those out in this live studio session.

Chelsea Wolfe - Advice and Vices single

"Chelsea Wolfe is a singer/songwriter and eponymous full band out of Los Angeles, California. Inspired by the dark state of the world and the strange connection between all things, she creates a unique musical blend of goth-folk, experimental rock and spiritual realm funeral songs. Ask Chelsea how to describe her live sound and she will say, "Psychedelia without the drugs." Ask her - if a song could be a soul mate which would you choose? - and she will reply, "Koni Priviredliviye by Vladimir Vysotsky." With influences ranging from the great minds of Ingmar Bergman and David Lynch, to soviets and end-times literature, her songs conjure visions of other dimensions, claustrophobic echo-rooms and parking garage cathedrals. Wolfe has recorded two full length albums, The Grime and the Glow, out December 28, 2010 on limited vinyl through Brooklyn's Pendu Sound, and her latest record, (Apocalypse), currently only available on bandcamp. Compared to the likes of Nick Cave, Siouxsie and the Banshees and PJ Harvey, Wolfe's music is rooted in truth but reaches beyond the horizons."

Sufjan Stevens - Come Feel The Illinoise!

Not much needs to be said about Sufjan Stevens, he's a song writing genius. Heard about him from a good friend while we were on our way to go see Tera Melos. Regardless of how weird that is it's proof of how brilliant this cd actually is

Adebisi Shank - This is the Second Album of a band called Adebisi Shank

Crazy fucking band from Wexford, Ireland
Punk Rock, Dance, Instrumental

Calculator - These Roots Grow Deep

Download album for free on their Bandcamp.
Awesome DIY band from Cali. I've never been a fan of using clips from movies in songs but they use a Donnie Darko one in a song and i cant think of a better band to use it.

"5 young dudes doing d.i.y shit since '07. we go through periods of activity and in-activity due to all of us going to college in different cities and states. we try to play as much as possible, but its tough. however, we are very flexible and willing to do whatever we need to do to play whenever and wherever when we can. hope to see you next summer and thanks for everything."

Mansion Closets - You Always Do This

This is the guitarist of The Speed Of Sound In Seawater's side project. Ive been so into this Cd for the past month and i think yet to do disappointed in it. Damien did a great job on this, he's such a creative individual.
"All of these songs are home recordings. These are the products of many late nights in my dorm room and many fun recording sessions crammed into my own closet, the closets of friends and the closets of complete strangers. Endless thanks to Juliana Lydell of The Dreaded Diamond for lending her talents to these songs. Without her contributions they wouldn't be half of what they are. "

Castanelli - The Saga Genesis

Track list
1. False Alarm
2. Bridge These Few States
3. Endeavor Forever

"Formed in early 2010, comprised of ex members from Bridging States, A New Agenda, Count Yourself to Sleep, Down By One, Castanelli (1st Gen), Fallen Skyline, Anti Deep Rest, Brian Wilkinson Band. We play what we would want to listen to, and hopefully you as well."
They have a 3 songs for free on their bandcamp,  go download it right meow!

Dead In The Dirt - Void

So heres where the blog gets a bit weird
Dead In The Dirt, members of Me And Him Call It Us and
Foundation
"VEG STRAIGHTEDGE ATHEIST"
Hoping to hear this band do alot more, Such a sick 3 piece band.

Algernon Cadwallader - KPSU Radio Session

Cant even begin to explain how excited i was to see them post this. There are 2 brand new songs at the very beginning. Obviously if you know Algernon you know its gonna be freakin awesome. When i saw them at Synapse Fest (fail) in worcester they played a new song and i was in total awe the whole time, cant wait for the new full length to come out.

Koalacaust

"Koalacaust is an American rock band, formed in 1961, who gained popularity for their close vocal harmonies and lyrics reflecting a Southern California youth culture of cars, surfing, and romance"
All of their music is free on their Bandcamp so go grab it. They just finished up a West Coast tour with Algernon Cadwallader and Joyce Manor and Big Kids. If you aren't already into this band get stoked.

Id rather post downloads from their own actual sites than mediafire so im gonna do that as much as possible btw
